The area has lots of places to see and visit including:
- Chateau de la Bretsche Golf Course There is a prestigious golf course in the grounds of the Chateau de la Bretesche 15 mins drive away at Missillac.
- Equestrian Centre 1km away caters for all abilities, where ponies and horses can be hired for trekking in the nearby countryside.
- Biking and Walking Kilometres of excellent Cross-country Mountain terrain surround the Gîtes.
- Beaches 10 to 15 minutes away to the west and the south. The nearest are at Billiers and a little further at Penestin, Damgan and Ambon.
- Prehistoric Park Rochefort on Terre (with full size dinosaurs).
